I know I said I would post photos of the Little Quilts I have been working on... but I haven't been able to take any that I'm really happy with yet. It's frustrating when you can't find a good place in your hosue to showcase something you made, and light it well at the same time. With natural light that is. Good natural light can be hard to find sometimes!
In the mean time I thought I would post some recent quilt drawings. I have been quilting for years, but always tended to just go at it with no solid plan in my mind ahead of time. It's been a lot of fun making these drawings first, playing with colors and patterns, while also mapping out dimensions. I'm not sure why I didn't do this sooner! It makes so much sense and it helps a ton to work these details out before cutting and sewing! Of course things change once I start working, but it's great to have a nice visual ahead of time. Plus I really like the way the drawings look on their own.
(Do I have to request that no one make a quilt based on my designs? I hope not, but I am asking anyway. Thank you for understanding!)
